The journey has begun and I am officially going to France. Now begins the grueling process of getting my visa, my "school supplies", and my plane ticket. For those of you just joining the game let me catch you up on the score and some highlights!
August 2011- Moved to South Korea and started teaching English.
December 2012- Decided it was time to move on before I stay here forever.
April 2013 - Applied to pastry school just outside of Montpellier.
June(into July) 2013 - Finished paying off my tuition and recieved the paperwork. Visa application time!
So now you are pretty much caught up! I'll try doing a few posts actually in french along the way (well, french and english) and post as many pictures as I can because if you are like me you are a visual person when it comes to things online. Plus I've promised to show off any yummy food I might make ^__^
To end this I thought I would put up a little video of one of my favorite little cafe songs. It was originally done by Serge Gainsbourg but covered by his son and a very talented vocalist. It's called (what else) Couleur Cafe.
That is all for now. My next post will be about visa/student resident registration procedure. It's a pain to figure out but once I got it I will give you the down low!
